LUKE Angel helped Binfield Club Athletic get off to a winning start to their Premier Division season with a hat-trick in a 6-1 away win at struggling Braybrooke Athletic.

Connor Reeves, Rory Angel and an own goal completed the victory.

Title favourites FC Fernhill were held 1-1 at home by new-look Morale Madrid.

After a goalless first half, Ben Knight gave Fernhill the lead when he bundled the ball home. Morale levelled within two minutes when debutant Rob Ellis planted a superb shot into the far corner.

Golden Farmer have brought in plenty of new blood as they look to improve on last season’s disappointing campaign.

They ran out 4-2 victors at FC Meta in their opening game. Centre half Josh Flynn headed home from a corner to give Farmer the lead, but Meta equalised midway through the second period from a lobbed shot that beat keeper Jake McKelve.

Dan Adams then put Farmer back in front from a tight angle, only for Meta to make it 2-2 in the closing stages.

However, Farmer went on to secure a late victory thanks to a bullet header from Carl Wyatt and a neat finish from Brian Murphy.

Last season’s runners-up Finchampstead got their season off to a flyer with a 6-2 win at newly-promoted Super Reeves.

Skipper Michael Starnes netted twice and James Kirby once before substitutes Byron Hobbs, Jamie Currie and Joe Cumnor all came off the bench to score.

The only game played in Division One saw 10-man Winkfield FC crash 4-1 at home to Crowthorne Inn after Ricky Taylor had been sent off. Bernie McDonagh grabbed Winks’ consolation.

In Division Two, Berkshire All Stars beat Warfield United 4-3 to stay top and maintain their 100% record. Thomas Marshall (2), Jake Keohone and player-manager Calvin Grainger all scored.

Newbold College are second after a 2-2 draw at Berkshire United, while Binfield Royals opened their campaign with a 6-2 demolition of Bracknell Athletic.

Club 8 got their first win of the season as a brace for Kevin Wynter and one from Demetreus Hub helped them beat Bracknell Saint Germain 3-1.

Winnersh Town also recorded their first win as Mario Baciu and Nick Ackroyd were on target in a 2-1 home victory against Hope & Anchor, Richard Gerrard with their consolation.

Bracknell Falcons lead Division Three with maximum points as they beat new league side Bracknell Cavaliers U21s 3-2 at home.

Finchampstead Sunday A are just behind thanks to a 5-3 win at Crownwood Dukes. Ben Thundow, Adam Streeter, Ian Kikonyogo (2) plus an own goal accounted for Finch’s total.

Ryan McGill and super-sub Justin Horton scored as FC Harmanswater defeated Bracknell Titans 2-1, with Chris Bolt replying.

Oli Pritchard (2), Dan Best and Bradley Fuller netted for Ashridge Park U21s, who secured their first win with a 4-2 triumph against Bracknell Royals.

A Tom Croft goal saw Woodley United Reserves beat AFC Crowthorne Reserves 1-0.

In the County Cup, there were wins for Whitegrove (1-0 at Arborfield), Intercity FC (2-1 at home to FC Woodley) and Sandhurst FFC (3-2 at Maidenhead Nomads Reserves).

Bracknell Forest romped to an 8-0 win at Sandford FC, 3M lost 4-2 at Blue Ball, Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW lost 2-0 at Eldon Celtic, Finchampstead Reserves lost 4-2 at home to Abingdon Exiles and Berks County are also out after losing 4-1 at Pinkneys Green.
