WOKINGHAM & Emmbrook FC Oranges staged a memorable comeback to beat FC Bracknell 5-3 in East Berkshire Football Alliance U14s Division 6.

An unfortunate own goal from full-back Harry Johnson handed FC Bracknell an early lead before they added two more to lead 3-0 at the break.

I could have been even worse for Wokingham, but keeper George Watkins made a number of vital saves including a penalty to keep his side in the game.

Injury prevented Watkins from coming out for the second half, with Christian Mohr taking his place.

It galvanised Wokingham who pulled two goals back with a Matty Rogers brace and then drew level at 3-3 with a fine finish from man-of-the-match Josef Lamberton.

And a final flourish saw Nathan Mulvaney score twice late on to complete a rousing Wokingham comeback.

Aidan Holland fired a hat-trick as Ascot U14s defeated Worcester Park Colts 3-1.

In the women’s section, Georgia Bowers, Lauren Broadhurst and Thea Taylor-Hindle scored for Ascot Ladies in a 3-2 win against Milton Keynes City in the FA Cup second qualifying round.

Lauren Chapman (2), Millie Allerton plus an own goal saw Ascot Diamonds U18s win 4-3 at Fleet Town.

Georgia Greenfield, Amy Cogdon and Darcey Young were on target for Ascot Diamonds U15s in a 3-3 draw with Kempton.

Ascot Diamonds U14s lost 4-3 to Beecholme Belles. Jasmine Keeley, Larisa Heylar and Kaitlin Worm scored for Ascot.

l SAM McIntyre and Ben Standing were on target as Ascot United Veterans lost 4-2 to Wandgas Village.
