In a hilarious, but also rather annoying, turn of events a woman in Bracknell has had a precious parcel stolen from her doorstep full of valuable produce.
But no, this package did not contain the tech, expensive clothes, or other pricey items the thief may have wanted it to. The parcel actually contained a selection of quality cheeses.
On Tuesday April 9 Jill Nash got an unpleasant surprise when she opened the door to her home to find her selection box from a cheesecloth in Harrogate missing.
She said: “It was very annoying, it was half of kilo of chaumes from a cheesecloth in Harrogate, bet they were very disappointed when they opened it to find cheese.”
Mrs Nash then posted on Facebook to explain what had happened to her which resulted in many users finding her particular situation pretty amusing.
On Facebook she wrote “I hope whoever stole my parcel from my front doorstep on Tuesday liked my cheese.”
Numerous accounts took to the comment section to suggest what may have happened to the assortment of cheeses.
One person wrote “Un-Brie-lievable,” and another responded “You need to look Caerphilly for the culprit.”
A further person said “I bet they are from wensleydale! Joking aside have you checked your neighbours, I thought I had a package go missing but found some kind sole took it in out of the rain.”
Sadly, the cheesy thief has still not be caught and Mrs Nash remains cheese-less for the time being.
