STUDENTS in Bracknell, Ascot and Wokingham were celebrating GCSE results day on Thursday, August 24.

Proud headteachers across the town praised students for "incredible" results and overcoming a challenging few years.

Deputy headteacher of St George's in Ascot, Jeremy Hoar, said: “We are immensely proud of all of our girls who have achieved outstanding grades across every subject which are above and beyond their baseline predictions, something for which St George’s is renowned.”

GCSE results have returned to ‘normal’ after the pandemic, the Department for Education has confirmed.
