SCHOOLS across Bracknell, Ascot and Wokingham have been celebrating A Level success after results day on Thursday, August 17.

Heathfield School in Ascot celebrated a 100% pass rate with 33% of pupils getting an A*-A grade.

84% of Heathfield students got an A-C grade in this year’s exams.

Also celebrating a 100% pass rate was the Marist School in Ascot, where 72% of students got an A*-B grade.

The English language and literature department at Bracknell and Wokingham College secured a 100% pass rate for the third year running.

Other subjects to secure 100% pass rates at the college included government and politics, history, law, media studies and physics.  

52% of students at Charters School in Sunningdale received an A*-B grade, with a 98% pass rate.

St Crispin’s School in Wokingham had 55% of its students receiving A*-B grades.

82% of students at Ranelagh School in Bracknell were awarded A*-C.

Headteachers at each school praised students for their “hard work and dedication” during a challenging few years with COVID-19 and school strikes.

Headteacher at Ranelagh School, Timothy Griffith, said: “These results are evidence of their dedication, resilience and the amount of hard work that has taken place.”

Bracknell Council also congratulated this year’s students as the executive member for children, young people and learning, Councillor Roy Bailey, said: “It is a pleasure to be able to congratulate our young people, not just for these results, but for all of the wider achievements they have secured over their key stage 5 study, and for the positive attitudes and determination that they have shown.”
