STUDENTS in Bracknell, Wokingham and Ascot were celebrating A Level results day on Thursday, August 17.

Schools were sharing success stories as Year 13 students received their results, getting into University and securing apprenticeships.

Proud headteachers across the town praised students for "incredible" results and overcoming a challenging few years.

Speaking to students on Thursday, principal at The Marist School in Ascot, Jo Smith said: "We are delighted with this year’s A Level results. I would like to congratulate this year’s cohort for their achievements which are testament to their hard work over the past two years."

Students were also keen to share their thoughts on results day. 

George Chaloner, 26, from Bracknell and Wokingham College said: "I’m massively happy! I doubted my ability before, but this shows me that I did good and that it was worth it.

"I’m amazed about my results and I’m happy to be going to the University of Warwick to study Chemistry. I can’t believe it."
