POLICE have taken a hilarious swipe at a resident who said he 'hopes to win' the cannabis plants they found.

Thames Valley Police discovered a a cannabis factory at a property near Bracknell town centre and shared their proud work on social media.

An image shows a room full of cannabis plants after officers found a 'substantial amount' inside the home.

No arrests were made yesterday and officers are carrying out further investigations.

However, a Bracknell resident stuck out to police after commenting on the picture how he hopes to win the cannabis plants.

Bracknell News:

Matt Peters jokingly commented "Liked and shared, hope I win!" as if police were giving away the cannabis as part of a competition.

But, police cleverly responded back to say they can offer an 'en-suite custody room for a period of up to 24 hours' instead.

Police said: "The winner will have access to one of our en-suite Custody Rooms for a period of up to 24 hours. Unfortunately rooms have no view, but are all inclusive of food and drink.

"Terms and Conditions Apply. Good Luck."

Their response has gained traction from residents in Bracknell, with hundreds of people liking their comment sharing laughing emojis."
